Problem No. 5 : Damaged neck screw.
Symptom: sometimes, the bottle neck will be damaged during the blowing procress, or the air evacuation slot is being stretched by an un-reasonable way.
Causes:
l .Mechanical problem. The preforms are transported to the mold cavity by the mechanical jaws. When the mechanical jaws are holding the preforms necks, the two sides of the screws will be forced. When the mechanical jaws are not in right postion, then the neck screws will be affected or damaged. Even the mechanical jaws will be damaged too sometimes.
l .Molds central cores are not in straight with the blowing cylinder. The blow cylinder position the location of the preforms by the force from the mechanial springs, which is not strong enough to make right the location of the preforms. When it blows, there will be a strong force, which will damage the neck screw at that moment.
l .Temperature for the neck screw part is too high. When the temperature for the neck part is too high, the air evacuation slot on the mold neck part will be deformed.
Solutions:
l .Make sure the position of the mechanical jaws are in right position. When you adjust the position of the mechanicl jaws, you can also adjust the temperature in the heating oven too.
l .Get some special and prifessional tools to find the correct location for the blowing cylinder and the mold centrl core.
l .Adjust the space of the cooling plate, and make sure it can protect the neck screw in a good way.
l .Check the air recycling inside the heating oven, make sure it works in a good way.
l .Or reduce the number of heating lamps.
Problem No. 6 : Explosive point and cracks
Symptom: there will always be a small crack at the bottom and close to the plastic-inlet position at the preform bottom.
Causes:
l .The preforms are not stretched to the maximum end in a natural and proper way, which will cause the bottom cracks and cause water leaking during the filling process too.
