On some of the PET bottles, there are handles which are engraved into the bottles. 

Such as some oil bottles and 5 gallon water bottles.

Here are some pictures. 

If you need to make bottles like this, you will need to do it as following:

1. make the hole for the handle on the bottle mold. 
2. put the handle into that hole before putting the heated preforms.
3. put the heated preforms into the mold.
4. press the button to blow the preforms into bottles.
